Christopher Wallace (May 21, 1972- March 9, 1997). Today marks the day of Biggie’s death anniversary. This is a tribute mix that was aired on the Wake Up Show in 2009. Enjoy and lets celebrate the life of the NOTORIOUS BIG. Rest in Paradise to the real king of New York.
After almost a decade of listening to this guy, I was finally lucky to get a chance to see the Canadian MC, K-OS, perform live in LOS ANGELES. I wish he performed more songs, but he still rocked it even though he was drunk out of his mind haha. Check out this guy’s music, very eclectic. He’ll throw everything at you… Hiphop, Electronica, Reggae, Folk, Rock, Soul, etc. His newest album YES! is currently on itunes or you can pick it up at your nearest record shop. He’ll be makin an appearance on DRAKE’s upcoming album. Peace to our peoples in Canada. NOTE TO ALL FACEBOOK USERS: YOU CAN VIEW THE VIDEOS of this performance on our website. Happy Friday everyone. I’m selling my Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens for $425.00. The economy sucks right now and I need $$$. Bottom pictures are samples from the Sigma lens. Reply if interested.
Thinking about what to do this Saturday? Come out and party with the homies who host The GetUp every month. If ya’ll don’t know about The Getup, then you probably have never been to a house party, where the DJ plays EVERYTHING dope and it’s FREE all night! So if you wanna party it up in Hollywood without the Hollywood $$$ and hear a mix of the finest music that will get you dancin’, groovin’, and movin’, then come thru. Doors open at 8pm and gets crackin’ til’ 2am.
You can catch us at the Roxy Theater in LA tomorrow night. The one and only K-os will be doing a rare performance in Cali. If ya’ll don’t know who this guy is, then look him up now and listen to his music. Anyhow, out of all places in LA, it had to be The Roxy Theater. I have nothing against The Roxy, but the venue is too damn small for an artist that’s known worldwide. Oh well, it should be a good night (except for the probability that it will be packed!) Hopefully he performs everything from Exit to Atlantis. As for the “Yes!” album, “No!” (except for 4, 3, 2, 1 and Zambony).
