This past Wednesday night Swag Promotions hosted the Battle Royale DJ Skills Competition @ the Terrace in Pasadena. 6 DJ’s squared off for battle with the top 4 advancing to the semi’s and the top 2 DJ’s squaring off in the finals. The 1st round consisted of a 1 minute scratch routine. 2nd round a beat juggle square off. And a 3 minute head-to-head final round.
We roll up 6 deep (including me) with the asian invasian.
We pull up to the spot and dude charges us $8 on a Wednesday night? SMH!
Decent crowd around 10:30 chillen out.
Before the battle, a band called “Live from LA” was performing doing their thing on stage. They had a decent set, I’d call it “when rap meets rock”.
