So about a week ago, I got the opportunity to get my DJ Virman stunt double steezy on and fill in for him as DJ for the Far-East Movement for a show they had out in Seattle. The fellas were coming straight from a mini-tour they had out in Texas with Shwayze, so I met up with the fellas in Sea-town.
The lonely walk to the gates of LAX
(didn’t have my digicam on me, but some of these shots from the Blackberry will have to do)
My in-flight entertainment consisted of Satellite TV courtesy of the Dish Network and Wi-Fi on the plane! I flew Virgin America, and I must say they definitely have some of the nicest, coziest, comfortable seats of all the flights I’ve been on. C’mon what other airlines offer wi-fi while 35,000 feet in the air?
Bout to touch down in Sea-Town!
The mountain really stuck out to me when we first landed. It looked better in person.
Talk about advertisement! This is the first ad I have ever seen on a baggage claim belt.
Gotta be one of the nicest looking cities around. We took the scenic freeway along the waterfront so we gotta pass by the Mariners and Seahawk stadiums plus got the ultimate view of the city… they call it the Emerald City, i think cuz the way it reflects off the waterfront.
Downtown Seattle here I come!
Pull up to the telly, and WOW! The guys really know how to travel. I must say, to be in a hotel like this, is an honor. I’m used to free comped rooms in Vegas like Circus Circus, Stratosphere, Silverton (I know, where the hell is that right?), so this is a HUGE change for me.
Get to the room and…..BAM!
Nice view of Sea-town’s land mark, the Space Needle.
After a nice hearty dinner. It was time for us to go to the local radio station and do an interview with the homie DJ Hyphen @ the Kube 93 building.
The man himself, DJ Hyphen.
Signing the wall of fame next to the likes of Outkast, Nas, Jigga.
After the station, it was time for sound check at Venom nightclub. And from what I’ve heard, this is THEE spot to party in Sea-town. Let’s see if they were right.
Of course the one picture that is taken of me, I’m closing my eyes. SMH. Rockin’ that Acrylick brand all day.
After a quick rest we headed back to the venue for the D-List party. Don’t get the name twisted. The only D-List person there was me, actually I prolly wouldn’t make the list, the party was already poppin’!
This place was literally packed shoulder to shoulder. We could barely move to make way to the stage!
POSTED!
Trust me, this doesn’t even describe the amount of alcohol that was flowing. Save me someone…almost showtime.

Seattle rulez! Right @seiha?
So after the club, it’s pretty customary to grub. In LA you always have the aroma of grilled onions outside the club from the “hot dog” lady outside. For those of you that don’t know. An LA Durrty dog consist of a hotdog wrapped with bacon topped with grilled onions/peppers/jalapeno’s. Well in Seattle they got their own style hotdog. So after show we were in search for this so called “Seattle Cream Cheese Hotdog”, which is a grilled hotdog with grilled veggies, cream cheese, ketchup and mustard. This cart got a line like a club but its worth the wait…
The new homies Invazn and Loe of Onfire. Some of the coolest cat’s you’ll meet in Seattle. See y’all when you get to LA.
Mission accomplished.
