A little over 2 months ago I was in need of a new DJ bag because my older Gravis bag was beat. So I strolled over to support the local skate shop Core to take a look at what they had in. The homies Key and Jon just got this new Hundreds backpack in stock and from my first impression it had more than what I was looking for and at a decent price. Said eff it i’ll cop it. Sad to say after less than 2 months the bag has disappointingly began to show its flaws. As you’ll see in some of the pictures, the area where the straps meet the bag is experiencing some wear and tear (literally). I’m pretty light weight when using this bag for gigs taking only the essentials (Laptop 15″ MBP, Stack of about 8-10 Records, needle case, charger, headphones, etc). So there is not much weight being put down on the bag. Although I don’t carry much in the bag, there is more than enough room to fit other essentials with all the mini/hidden compartments.
Overall I would have to say if your looking for a bag with plenty of pockets, a large main compartment, and will be carrying very light gear, this is the bag for you. I can see this bag being used by photographers. For those looking to use the bag A LOT and want something to last you well into 5+ years this probably is not the bag your looking for. The exterior material of the bag feels poorly made (as evidenced by the tear in the straps). Gonna be hitting up these guys soon to try and get a replacement and we’ll see how good their customer service is (crosses fingers). Be on the lookout for the newer bag
