No disrespect to any DJ’s but the skill level on the radio hasn’t been the same since 90’s and early 2000’s. I know very few DJ’s on the radio that I can actually consider dope. That’s what motivated me to put this mix together. I wanted to show the average DJ that you can still paint a masterpiece with a sprinkle of motivation and creativity. This was my first mix that I can actually consider “jiggy”.

Every now and then the homie Icy Ice invites us over to his online show Stacks TV for a quick skratch session. This past Tuesday we were lucky enough to share the show with LMNO of the Visionaries and DJ Wrex of Acrylick clothing

LA Destroyers

The Nike Destroyer campaign takes itself to Los Angeles in an upcoming “LA Destroyers” exhibition. The exhibition includes three videos done with artist/dancer Mowii Madonna, model Chauntel Lewis and rapper Casey Veggies with special Destroyer jackets will be made available through Nike, Blends LA and The Vault. The event takes place on Thursday, December 9th at the LA Art Walk.

Fun Fact:

When this track was recorded we originally wanted to use Droop-E’s “I’m Loaded”, but the beat was too naked during the verses(no offense to Droop-E). So we decided to steal the drums from I’m Loaded and reflip the Sade “War of the Hearts” sample the way we wanted it. If you want the instrumental, holla. I’ll shoot if your way.

Mike Jack- Rock with You(Dstrukt Latin Remix)

My little latin version of Mike Jack’s “Rock with You”. This remix was featured on my “Table Scraps” mixtape from 2009. The remix only went on for 49 seconds on the mix, a couple days ago I decided to make it an actual track. I know it’s kinda cliche to remix “Rock with You”, that’s why I wanted to put a latin twist(Not Ricky Martin Menudo latin) to it. Hope yall enjoy it.
